Unstone Grange, is a residential centre for courses, conferences and workshops. Set in the lovely rolling countryside of North Derbyshire near the edge of the Peak District National Park, it has 5 acres of grounds, with an organic kitchen garden, a wide variety of trees and abundant bird life. It is run by a caring resident community of 6 adults and 2 children. Many people who come to Unstone comment on the lovely feel of the Grange.
What is a Creativity Break? VegiVentures has been running Creativity Breaks since 1993. It has been a huge success. The idea is simple, a group of people come together and share skills and ideas. In a relaxed "house party" atmosphere people offer to lead different activities, perhaps ones in which they have particular skills or knowledge. It is also an excellent opportunity for budding workshop leaders to share their skills and gain valuable feedback. Over 100 activities have been shared during the last 19 years. You don't have to share any skills or lead an activity, you are welcome to come just as a participant. Our groups are always warm and friendly, and provide a chance to make new friends.
The food is delicious, creative and based around a balanced diet suitable for vegetarians, vegans and anyone who is interested in this style of living. Special diets are available on request. All food is prepared from fresh ingredients (organic where possible) by the catering team who are lead by Swiss trained chef and founder of VegiVentures, Nigel Walker.
